About The Job

An opportunity has arisen for Social Media and Content Development Manager to join our team of Marketing and Communications at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Create (capture and edit) photo and video content for Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab and its brands and coordinate external content creators.
  • Develop, own, and continuously refine the social media and content strategy for Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab and its brands, ensuring alignment with business goals and brand vision while driving long‑term growth and innovation.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the social media and content team, including delegation of tasks to Assistant Manager and junior staff, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and ensures high‑quality, timely execution.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all photo and video shoots—from pre‑production to post‑production—working with internal teams and external partners to create compelling brand‑aligned content and approve final deliverables with the Director of Marketing.
  • Manage and update content across all OTAs, booking platforms, and digital channels, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and freshness to optimise guest engagement, conversions, and reflect seasonal offerings.
  • Identify and collaborate with creative partners such as photographers and videographers, developing storyboards and content plans that capture the essence of the Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab brand and enhance multi‑channel distribution.
About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Ability to shoot and edit photo and video content, with professional equipment. Excellent knowledge of video/photo/audio software from Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, social media platforms, social listening tools, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Excellent written and oral English communication with strong interpersonal and creative problem‑solving skills.
  • Over 5 years managing multi‑channel social media campaigns for luxury brands with both in‑house and agency experience.
  • Skilled in using social media analytics to measure performance, optimise campaigns, and stay current with platform trends.
  • Proven ability to develop innovative strategies that grow communities, enhance brand identity, and drive engagement.
