Job summary

ADNOC Drilling Company in Abu Dhabi is seeking an on-site Slickline Operator to raise and lower downhole tools, retrieve valves and regulators, and ensure accurate depth control during well testing and maintenance.

You will coordinate with clients and third parties, rig-up equipment, record data, monitor safety, and participate in ongoing HSE improvements while maintaining tools and supporting continuous operational excellence on site.

Qualifications

• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Excellent computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Raise and lower downhole tools with a wire cable to test and maintain wells.
• Retrieve and install valves, plugs and pressure regulators.
• Lower and raise downhole tools to proper depth and direct fishing tools used to retrieve broken or lost wire or equipment.
• Rig-up equipment and ensure data is recorded.
• Maintain tools and safety gear and perform on-site maintenance.
• Adhere to HSE policies and report hazards.
