Job summary

Workato is seeking a qualified Mason to join our Abu-Dhabi team. The candidate should have experience with brick, stone, and concrete, and be able to read blueprints and meet tight deadlines while upholding safety standards.

The role involves measuring, cutting, and laying masonry materials, constructing walls and foundations, installing fixtures, and performing repairs. Immigrants are welcome to apply for this position.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a mason.
• Ability to read blueprints/sketches.
• Knowledge of building materials properties is an asset.
• Excellent physical condition; able to lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, shape, and lay brick or stone according to plans.
• Prepare layouts using levels and other measuring tools.
• Construct walls, partitions, and foundations.
• Install windows frames, curbstones, or sidewalks as needed.
• Build arches or vaults following sketches/blueprints.
• Repair existing masonry structures.
• Select appropriate materials based on color and texture.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
• Ensure safety standards are followed on site.
