Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrician.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and legal regulations related to electricity usage.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Good understanding of electrical circuitry and theories.
• Excellent problem solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Install and replace electrical fixtures including lighting, switches, outlets etc.
• Follow safety regulations in all aspects of work.
• Read blueprints or technical diagrams to determine the layout of wiring.
• Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits using testing devices such as voltmeters or ohmmeters.
• Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers or wire strippers to work on equipment.
