Job summary

Ecojob in Dibba-El-Fujairah, UAE, seeks a skilled Carpenter to measure, cut, shape and assemble wood and related materials. The candidate will read blueprints and join components, install cabinets and fixtures, and assist with building or repairing structures on construction sites in Dibba-El-Fujairah.

The role requires physical fitness, the ability to work independently or in a team, and experience with carpentry tools. On-site position with consistent monthly salary.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a carpenter.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings accurately.
• Proficient in use of carpentry tools such as saws, routers, hammers etc.
• Excellent physical condition with ability to lift heavy materials manually.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
• Build formwork for concrete construction projects.
• Construct frameworks for doors, stairs, window frames etc.
• Assist with the installation of new structures or the repair of existing structures.
• Plan the lay out of projects according to blueprints and drawings provided by architects or engineers.
• Install cabinets and other furniture items according to specifications.
