Job summary

India Abroad in Sharjah, UAE is seeking a skilled Carpenter to construct, repair and install wooden structures such as doors, cabinets and furniture. You will read blueprints, measure materials, cut and join using hand and power tools.

The role requires experience in framing, finishing and cabinetry, physical fitness, attention to detail and the ability to work on site. Visa for UAE is required; accommodation not provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of framing, finishing and cabinetry carpentry techniques.
• Proficient with hand tools and power tools.
• Physically fit with ability to lift heavy objects.
• Strong communication skills.
• Nationality preference: Pakistani or Egyptian.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and materials needed for a project.
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, pencils or chalk.
• Cut, shape and join materials (wood or other materials) using hand tools and power tools.
• Install structures or fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trim or hardware made of wood.
• Repair or replace damaged frameworks or other wooden parts of buildings or structures.
• Inspect finished products for quality control and make necessary adjustments.
• Operate woodworking machinery including saws, routers and sanders.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations while working on job sites.

Skilled Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing and installing various structures and fixtures made of wood, such as door frames, cabinets, furniture and other wooden objects.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and materials needed for a project

This is a contract job with a salary of 1000$ per month. Accommodation will not be provided but candidates must have their own valid visa to work in the UAE. English language skills are not required for this position but basic communication skills are preferred.
