Job summary

A marine engineering company located in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Marine Civil Engineer to supervise rockworks activities such as rock placement and quay wall construction. The ideal candidate should have a diploma in engineering and at least 10 years of experience in marine civil projects, including breakwater construction and beach profiling. Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise rockworks activities including rock placement, revetments, scour protection, and armor layers
• Oversee quay wall (QW) construction works in coordination with marine and dredging operations
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements
• Coordinate with dredging teams, marine plant operators, surveyors, and subcontractors
• Monitor levels, tolerances, and quantities of rock placement
• Enforce HSE standards, marine safety procedures, and environmental requirements
• Report daily progress, issues, and completed works to the Project Manager
• Assist with inspections, QA/QC documentation, and snag resolution
• Experience in Breakwater Construction, Quay wall & beach profiling

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of Exp. in Marie Civil Projects (Activity involved In, Breakwater Construction, Quay wall, beach profiling, etc.)
• Strong Knowledge and exp. with Budget Management, Contractual, QHSE process.
