Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Site QA/QC Engineer – Electrical for the QurM STATCOM site in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role focuses on material and equipment quality, site inspections, and adherence to QMS procedures throughout a 20-month project.

Responsibilities include conducting IPI/FI checks, preparing RI reports, coordinating inspections, and ensuring proper tools, calibration, and NCR handling on site. The profile targets meticulous QA/QC on electrical works and compliance with hold points.

Responsibilities

• Checking the quality of incoming material & equipment delivered and preparing RI Report.
• Follow-up and coordination of the site inspections program per system.
• Ensuring compliance with the hold points defined in the site inspection programs by notifying the customer or his representative.
• Ensuring with the help of the site supervisors that working teams have adequate tools, testing & safety equipment and its calibration.
• Ensuring of the respect of the procedures.
• Checking of application of the procedures on site management request.
• Managing and transmitting quality deviation forms events (NCR etc..) after validation of the Site Manager.
• Scheduling audits of the Subcontractors regarding documentation and quality follow-up.
• Conducting IPI / FI checks during project execution as per QMS checklists.
• Preparing fortnightly report of QMS at site.
• Preparation of Method Statement / Work Instructions related to Works.
• Qualitative control of the packaging (shock, indicator, scars, and bents.)
• Quantitative and qualitative of the materials/equipment versus packing lists.
• Control of the incoming & outgoing material to/from storage areas (respect of registering and documenting MR reports).
