Job description

Wood is seeking a high performing Site Materials and Warehouse Manager to support ADNOC oil and gas projects. This role is critical and would be responsible for managing all site material and warehouse activities ensuring timely receipt, proper storage, inventory control, and issuance of materials in compliance with project specifications, HSE standards, and EPCM procedures to support uninterrupted construction and commissioning activities.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the Warehouse, Materials Handling and Storage in accordance with company/client procedures ensuring that all transactions are auditable and purchase orders are closed out expediently
• Good communications skills both oral, written and presentation focused
• Extensive knowledge of engineering support for Asset development
• Self‑motivated, high level of delivery focus
• Ability to work within multiple teams and deal with changing priorities
• Strong team leadership requiring focus, enthusiasm, sensitivity, mentoring and coaching

Qualifications

• Good track record of interfacing with clients and 3rd parties
• Typically acquired through 5+ years’ experience of supervision/managing in a warehousing facility
• The individual should have varied and detailed work experience in the industry which would allow understanding of and exposure to key material control and logistics concepts and principles
• Previous experience of using Material Management Systems
