Job summary

Electra Events & Exhibitions is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to lead on-site and workshop electrical activities for GCC projects. You will ensure safe, compliant installation, maintenance and commissioning in line with approved drawings and schedules.

You will manage electricians and technicians, coordinate with site and technical teams, review drawings, and enforce safety standards and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4-7 years of experience in electrical installation and supervision (events, exhibitions, fit-out, or construction).
• Proven experience in supervising electricians and electrical technicians.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, load schedules, and layouts.
• Familiarity with local electrical codes and regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of electricians and technicians on-site and in the workshop.
• Allocate work according to project priorities and deadlines.
• Ensure proper handling of electrical tools, equipment and materials.
• Monitor progress and report daily status to Electrical Operations Manager.
• Oversee electrical installations including temporary and permanent wiring, power distribution, lighting panels and DBs.
• Ensure installations comply with approved technical drawings, specifications and client requirements.
• Conduct testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Coordinate with technical and production teams for design clarifications.

Key Responsibilities

Supervision amp Operations

Supervise daily activities of electricians and technicians on-site and in the workshop Allocate work according to project priorities and deadlines Ensure proper handling of electrical tools equipment and materials Monitor progress and report daily status to Electrical Operations Manager

Installation amp Execution

Oversee electrical installations including temporary and permanent wiring power distribution lighting panels and DBs Ensure installations comply with approved technical drawings specifications and client requirements Conduct testing commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical systems Coordinate with technical and production teams for design clarifications

Quality amp Safety

Conduct quality checks on completed electrical work before handover Ensure strict adherence to electrical safety standards and PPE usage Identify hazards and implement corrective measures Maintain a clean organized and safe working environment

Team Management

Lead guide and mentor electrical staff Monitor attendance performance and discipline of team members Provide on-the-job training to improve technical skills Promote teamwork and effective coordination within the department
