Job summary

Gulf Institute is seeking a Site Aluminum Supervisor to supervise daily aluminum fabrication and installation on a project site in the UAE. The role requires reading shop drawings, coordinating with engineers and subcontractors, and ensuring workmanship meets quality standards.

Strong knowledge of aluminum profiles, doors, windows, curtain walls and glazing is preferred, with practical site supervision experience. Safety and timely progress reporting are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.
• Experience in Aluminum/Faade/Glazing works preferred.
• Good knowledge of aluminum profiles, doors, windows, curtain walls, cladding, and glazing.
• Ability to read and understand technical/shop drawings.
• Good site supervision and team coordination skills.
• Relevant site experience in the aluminum industry.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily aluminum fabrication and installation activities at the project site.
• Monitor installation of aluminum doors windows curtain walls partitions cladding and glazing works.
• Read and interpret shop drawings architectural drawings and technical specifications.
• Take site measurements and ensure proper dimensions before fabrication and installation.
• Coordinate with project engineers supervisors fabricators installers clients and subcontractors.
• Monitor manpower materials tools and equipment at the site.
• Ensure aluminum works are installed according to approved drawings and required quality standards.
• Check alignment level dimensions finishing fittings and overall workmanship.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with the project team for timely solutions.
• Prepare daily progress reports and update project status.
• Coordinate material requirements and ensure materials are available on time.
• Ensure all site activities follow safety and HSE requirements.
• Monitor work progress and ensure completion within the planned schedule.
