Job summary

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company work values, quality policies, HSE requirements, and site safety standards.
• Monitor site activities to ensure work progresses safely and meets required quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with all site rules, procedures, and regulations.
• Maintain and update the Blue Book for HSE verification.
• Follow the daily work plan and allocate tasks to labourers as instructed by the Line Manager.
• Monitor setting-out activities and ensure work is executed accurately according to approved layouts and requirements.
• Identify site discrepancies and coordinate with the Line Manager for timely resolution.
• Maintain labour output and productivity records to monitor workforce performance.
• Conduct daily roll calls and maintain accurate labour timesheets, including overtime records.
• Provide timely information to the Line Manager regarding manpower, materials, tools, and other resource requirements.
• Report daily site progress, challenges, and issues to the Line Manager.
• Coordinate with the Stores team for the receipt, handling, and movement of materials.
• Maintain accurate records of materials received, used, and returned from site.
• Ensure tools and plant are properly maintained and stored, and immediately report any damage or defects.
• Handle internal and external client complaints professionally and escalate issues when required.
• Coordinate effectively with internal departments, subcontractors, and other site stakeholders.
• Ensure clear communication with the Line Manager regarding site progress, issues, and resource requirements.
• Ensure labourers are properly trained and follow the latest approved installation methods and work practices.
• Supervise work to ensure materials and installations comply with approved specifications and quality requirements.
• Escalate any special technical or quality requirements to the Line Manager.
• Guide labourers on minimizing material wastage and ensuring proper use and handling of tools and equipment.
