About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Site Engineer with experience in luxury retail environments, where precision, discretion, and brand protection are essential. The ideal candidate understands the unique requirements of high-end boutiques—delivering seamless maintenance, ensuring visual perfection, and supporting daily operations without disrupting the client experience.

This role requires the ability to coordinate technical works inside active retail spaces, maintain premium finishes, manage specialist vendors, and ensure stores remain immaculate and operational at all times.

Luxury Retail Technical Oversight

• Conduct detailed assessments of boutique MEP, architectural, and civil elements while respecting brand aesthetics.
• Provide fast, high-quality technical solutions with minimal disruption to store operations and guest flow.
• Ensure that all interventions maintain or elevate the boutique presentation level.

Boutique Maintenance & Technical Coordination

• Plan and supervise corrective and preventive maintenance works during optimal time windows (pre-opening, post-closing, overnight if needed).
• Coordinate specialist subcontractors familiar with luxury retail standards.
• Prepare technical documentation including scopes of work, method statements, and material specifications aligned with brand guidelines.

Quality & Brand Standards

• Ensure flawless workmanship on premium finishes, millwork, lighting systems, HVAC comfort levels, and façade elements.
• Conduct snag inspections and visual audits focusing on luxury retail standards (lighting uniformity, alignment, finish quality, décor protection).
• Validate that all repairs uphold the boutique’s visual identity and customer experience.

Client Interface & Premium Service Delivery

• Serve as the technical point of contact for store managers, brand operations teams, and retail directors.
• Provide clear, structured reports including photos, diagnostics, and recommended solutions.
• Offer proactive guidance to prevent disruptions and preserve brand image.

Health, Safety & Retail Store Protocol

• Ensure strict compliance with HSE guidelines, especially within live, customer-facing environments.
• Coordinate work teams discreetly, maintaining store cleanliness and confidentiality.
• Anticipate risks related to operations, customer movement, and store zones.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related technical field.
• Proven experience in luxury retail maintenance, boutique management, or high-end commercial environments.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, architectural finishes, and retail technical standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and boutique layouts.
• Exceptional attention to detail—“no visible defects” mindset.
• Strong leadership and coordination ability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with luxury brands (fashion, watches, jewelry, cosmetics, hospitality, etc.).
• Familiarity with CMMS systems used by premium retailers.

Certifications such as HSE, NEBOSH, HVAC license, or Electrical Authorizations.

Experience managing fast-paced night works, rollouts, VM installations, or boutique refurbishments.
