Job summary

Zarco Group in Abu Dhabi seeks a qualified Civil Engineer to join our construction team. You will oversee daily field activities, ensure adherence to drawings and specifications, and coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on site.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and 3–5 years of UAE/GCC project experience, with strong knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• 3–5 years of site civil engineering experience, UAE/GCC preferred.
• Ability to read civil, architectural, structural drawings.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil construction work at the project site.
• Ensure work complies with drawings, specs, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor progress and report against schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily civil construction work at the project site
• Ensure all work is executed according to drawings specifications approved work methods data and project requirements
• Coordinate with consultants subcontractors suppliers and project management
• Monitor on-site work progress and ensure activities are completed according to the project schedule
• Review drawings and coordinate with technical and site teams
• Conduct inspections and ensure work quality meets required standards
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports
• Monitor manpower material and equipment needs
• Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues
• Ensuring compliance with health safety and environmental requirements and on-site safety procedures
• Coordinating with quality assurance quality control teams regarding inspection processes and quality requirements

Requirements

• Good knowledge of civil engineering methods and materials and field execution
• Ability to read and understand civil architectural structural mechanical electrical and plumbing drawings

• Extensive knowledge of project specifications method statements and inspection procedures
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
• Experience in the UAE GCC is highly preferred
