Job summary

Waagner Biro Bridge Services in the UAE seeks a Shovel Operator to operate and maintain heavy equipment across project sites, including marine and beach environments. The role requires ensuring smooth operation and adherence to safety and operational standards.

You will perform pre-start inspections, coordinate with the Plant Manager and site teams, report issues, and keep machines clean and ready. A UAE Shovel Operator license is essential; English proficiency is required; driving a No.3 LTV

Qualifications

Valid UAE Shovel Operator (Heavy Tractor) license required.
Ability to read, write and speak English.
LTV Driving License No. 3 is an advantage.
Knowledge of safe work practices and site safety standards.
Experience working on marine or beach sites is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate the shovel for loading, excavation, and material handling activities as instructed.
Perform daily pre-start inspections and basic maintenance checks.
Coordinate with site supervisors and the plant team to ensure timely completion of work.
Follow safety procedures and company policies during operation.
Report mechanical issues or incidents to the Plant Manager.
Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of the equipment at all times.
Support other equipment or site activities as directed by the Plant Manager.
