Job summary

MARBELLA D W I REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT L.L.C is looking for an experienced heavy equipment operator in Dubai who can operate heavy-duty shovels and perform routine checks and maintenance on the equipment. The ideal candidate possesses a UAE Driving License, a Commercial Driver's License, and has 3-5 years of experience in operating heavy excavation machinery.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty shovels, hydraulic cable or dragline to excavate load and move large quantities of earth, rock or other materials with precision.


• Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on shovel equipment, identifying and reporting any mechanical issues to ensure safe and efficient operation.


• Interpret grade stakes, blueprints and site plans to accurately position the shovel and achieve desired excavation depths and contours.


• Safely maneuver the shovel around active work sites, adhering to traffic control plans and maintaining safe distances from other equipment and personnel.

Qualifications

• UAE Driving License is a must.


• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.


• Possession of a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B, often required for transporting equipment or materials.


• Minimum of 3-5 years of documented experience operating heavy excavation equipment, with a focus on large shovels.


• Certification from a recognized heavy equipment operator training program or equivalent on‑job training.
