Job summary

Larsen & Toubro Limited in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee station box construction activities, coordinating excavation, reinforcement, concreting, waterproofing, and embedment installations. The role leads crews and subcontractors to ensure safe, productive execution in line with drawings and specs.

You will coordinate with Engineering, Survey, QA/QC, and HSE teams to resolve issues, monitor productivity, and maintain progress while upholding quality standards and safety

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate station box construction activities incl. excavation, temporary supports, reinforcement, concreting, waterproofing, embedment installations.
• Lead construction crews, subcontractors, and operators to ensure safe, productive execution.
• Monitor excavation and strutting to maintain stability and comply with sequences and geotechnical requirements.
• Oversee reinforcement fixing, formwork readiness, embedment installation, and concrete placement per drawings and specs.
• Supervise waterproofing work including membrane installation, water stops, joints, and protection systems.
• Ensure compliance with confined-space procedures, permit-to-work, and HSE requirements.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inspections, and risk assessments; address hazards promptly.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Survey, QA/QC, HSE, and subcontractors to resolve site issues and maintain progress.
• Monitor labor productivity, equipment utilization, and material availability to hit shift targets.
• Ensure activities meet quality standards, inspection requirements, method statements, and specs.
• Maintain shift records on progress, manpower, safety, quality, equipment, and resources.
• Conduct effective shift handovers and communicate ongoing activities, constraints, and priorities to incoming team.

• Conduct effective shift handovers and communicate ongoing activities, constraints, and priorities to the incoming team.
