Services Sales Account Director (non-management)

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Boeing Business Jets (BBJ) / Global Leasing Services Sales Account Director (non-management) who will be responsible for planning, developing and managing competitive services sales & marketing campaigns both nationally and internationally. This position will be instrumental in proactively carrying out sales activities to key customers in the Middle East and will be located in Dubai, UAE.

The Global Leasing team supports the unique requirements of customer lessors worldwide by offering a range of services around lease transition support, parts exchange programs and MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) services.
This is a customer‑facing role supporting the Middle East Region and requires domestic and international travel.
Position Responsibilities
- Lead the approval process by advocating the customer requirements and selling the business case to management to ensure quality deal, balancing the enterprise business unit and customer goals to meet and drive Long‑Range Business Plan (LRBP)
- Lead negotiations and finalize commitments ensuring mutual benefit to the customer and Boeing by interfacing directly with customer decision‑makers and influencers
- Leverage a detailed understanding of both customer and Boeing needs and resources to find areas of alignment and integration
- Obtain commitment within parameters approved by management
- Drive sales and campaign activities to successful completion by integrating multiple aspects of the customer’s needs
- Craft campaign‑specific strategies, procure resources and secure management commitment to ensure successful execution
- Create metrics to monitor campaign project status and budget requirements
- Leverage company resources to support customer commitments, gain a competitive advantage and foster business growth by using a comprehensive understanding of multiple Boeing products and services, processes, operations and resources
- Integrate knowledge into business strategies and solutions
- Research, review and analyze information about competitors’ products and services to develop a comprehensive understanding of specific competitor activities and their impact on company strategy to improve our competitive position
- Verify, evaluate and apply detailed customer knowledge to advance campaign activity, support the long‑range business plan (LRBP) and contribute to strategy development (e.g. country, region and campaign)
- Establish a broad network of contacts and knowledge base to act as a broker of knowledge to multiple customer needs
- Provide guidance to more junior employees regarding capturing and documenting detailed customer knowledge and assist in network development
- Initiate and advance customer relationships and work to be accepted as a trusted business partner by the customer
- Establish, maintain and expand network to address customer needs and keep lines of communication open
- Develop customer solutions by coordinating and integrating with internal and external processes and divisions to provide a competitive advantage and foster business growth with acceptable margins
- Coordinate packaging of Boeing and industry products and knowledge into complete solutions that meet customer needs
- Lead review process with management by balancing customer expectations and Boeing resources
- Align third‑party deliverables
- Maintain and advance customer relationships to proactively address future needs
- Identify future business opportunities and promote the value of Boeing portfolio and partnership
- Provide networking capabilities to address needs beyond Boeing’s resources and offerings
- Take a consultative approach to help customers achieve objectives
- Lead preparation of proposals by developing themes and discriminators and ensuring correct members and resources are included in the team. Recommend alternative means of compliance to customer requests
- Review and contribute to the final draft materials
- Challenge recommended scope and cost to ensure compliance and competitiveness
- Develop strategy and tactics using in‑depth knowledge of customer needs, Boeing products and services and competitive environment to foster business growth with acceptable margins
- Ensure strategic alignment with the customer Long‑Range Business Plan and regional and country objectives
Travel Requirements
This position is fully onsite and has a travel requirement of 50% of the time.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- Extensive experience in establishing mature and close complex sales opportunities across a broad Boeing portfolio
- Minimum of 5 years of prior experience in consultative sales – upsell, cross‑sell, bundle. Aviation industry preferred.
- Extensive experience in customer relationship development, promoting long‑term account plans and building trusting relationships
- Experience in enterprise account management and share‑of‑wallet analysis with strong financial acumen
- Experience of productively collaborating across internal and external customers to advance account plans or sales opportunities
- Established as a peer leader in leading by example, partnering with Boeing values
- Bachelor’s degree or higher

- Understanding of internal Boeing processes

This position is located in an area that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
