Job description
Key Accountabilities:
  • Technical Operations: Set up EV workshop from manpower, equipment, processes, IT, etc. to fully operate and deliver best service level. Handle and resolve technical issues which require additional information from the principal to ensure quality standards and compliance.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain healthy business relationship with fleets and private clients. Maintain positive relationships to receive feedback, discuss and support customer requirements to deliver on time service level all over UAE.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with manufacturer, suppliers, body builders to conduct services in accordance to standard levels. Service
  • Delivery: Lead the vehicle inspection to ensure all vehicle check measures are addressed before delivery to customer.
  • Health and Safety: Responsible for workshop facility and equipment with related maintenance requirements. Follow the company code of conduct and compliance policy. Apply the principal’s directives and safety rules to avoid any damage to the vehicles or to self. Promote precautionary measures to avoid occupational hazard of repair works.
  • Team Management: Supervise technicians / electricians to carry out repairs and diagnosis as per manufacturer guidelines.
Job Specific Information:
  • Service Engineer will interact closely with the Service and Sales Teams within predefined limits and will provide recommendations to the Line Manager with regards to repair processes in line with principal requirements and guidelines to ensure quality standard service and customer satisfaction are met.

External: Principals & Body Builders and Vehicle Converters

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering

Experience:

4 - 6 years of commercial vehicle technical or product experience, preferably in electric vehicles (if available)
