International Academic School (IAS)-Abu Dhabi seeks a mid-level to senior Blockchain Developer/Web3 Solutions Specialist to design, develop, and maintain blockchain-based applications and decentralized solutions. You will collaborate with product, engineering, security, and business teams to build secure, scalable Web3 offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Blockchain Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in Blockchain Development, Web3 Engineering, Smart Contract Development, or similar.
• Strong understanding of blockchain architecture, distributed ledgers, consensus mechanisms, and DApps.
• Hands-on experience developing smart contracts using Solidity or equivalent languages.
• Experience with Ethereum or other blockchain ecosystems.
• Knowledge of Web3 wallets, tokens, decentralized protocols, and blockchain transactions.
• Experience developing REST APIs, Web3 APIs, and backend services.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript/Python/Go/Rust or similar languages.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Managers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical Web3 solutions.
• Support the design and implementation of tokenized products, digital assets, decentralized services, or blockchain-enabled workflows where applicable.
• Develop technical documentation covering architecture, smart contracts, APIs, deployment procedures, and operational processes.
• Participate in architecture reviews, technical planning, sprint activities, and development discussions.
• Work with DevOps and Cloud teams to establish reliable blockchain development and deployment environments.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for smart contracts and blockchain applications.
• Support integration with Web3 wallets, identity solutions, payment systems, and external blockchain services.
