Job summary

YO HR Consultancy is seeking a Senior Video Editing Quality Assurance Specialist (SME) for a global, fully remote contractor role. You will review AI-generated and human-edited video content to ensure professional post-production quality, technical accuracy, and adherence to guidelines.

A portfolio demonstrating high-end editing capabilities is mandatory for selection. You will provide precise written feedback, assess pacing, continuity, color grading, audio sync, and storytelling, and help

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional video editing experience in relevant environments.
• English at C1–C2 to understand guidelines and provide written feedback.
• Proficiency in multiple NLEs, especially Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience as Lead Editor or Senior Video Editor is valued.
• Portfolio demonstrating professional editing capabilities is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate video editing quality for pacing, continuity, transitions and storytelling.
• Perform technical quality assurance: frame-rate, codecs, color, sync, export defects.
• Compare AI-generated outputs with human edits to identify artifacts and issues.
• Create structured feedback with professional terminology and suggested corrections.
• Develop AI training content and quality rubrics for consistent standards.
• Ensure adherence to briefs, guides, and project-specific rubrics.
• Support calibration of editors and video quality workflows.
• Maintain high production quality across time zones in a remote contractor setup.
