Job summary

SearchPlus HR is assisting a leading UAE healthcare facility in recruiting a Consultant Vascular & Endovascular Surgeon. The role requires delivering expert vascular care, with proficiency in open and minimally invasive endovascular procedures.

The candidate should have substantial vascular experience, hold UK CCT or equivalent and GMC registration, and be eligible for UAE consultant licensing. Collaboration with multiple specialties and ongoing clinical governance are key aspects.

Qualifications

• UK CCT in Vascular Surgery or equivalent qualification.
• GMC Specialist Registration or equivalent recognised credential.
• Substantial experience in vascular and endovascular surgery.
• Experience with both open and endovascular procedures.
• Eligible for Consultant-level licensing with UAE health authority.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level assessment, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of vascular patients.
• Perform and oversee a range of open and endovascular vascular procedures.
• Manage arterial, venous and peripheral vascular disorders including emergencies.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and imaging.
• Provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative patient care.
• Collaborate with radiology, cardiology, interventional radiology, anesthesia and other teams.
• Contribute to governance, quality improvement and patient safety.
• Support training and supervision of junior doctors and other staff.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with UAE regulations.
