Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Principal Consultant in Threat Intelligence Advisory to deliver threat-informed services to global clients from Unit 42 Proactive Services. You will lead complex engagements, provide risk-based intelligence, and help clients operationalise threat intel across security programs.

Qualifications

• Excellent English written and verbal communications; able to tailor messaging for technical and executive audiences.
• Demonstrable experience improving CTI processes in large enterprises or as a consultant.
• Deep understanding of cybercriminal/state-sponsored groups, TTPs and mitigations.
• Knowledge of intelligence tradecraft and ICD 203 standards used to produce finished intelligence.
• Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver threat-informed services to international clients within Unit 42 Threat Intelligence Advisory.
• Lead threat intelligence engagements: assessments, maturity reviews, capability building, and testing.
• Provide intelligence input for risk management consulting engagements (SOC, Cloud, AI security).
• Utilize internal data and OSINT to identify threats across sectors/geographies.
• Collaborate with client security teams to operationalise threat intelligence into measurable outcomes.
• Enhance Unit 42 presence via thought leadership, speaking engagements, and blog articles.
• Leverage internal AI platforms to optimise threat intel workflows.
