Halian is seeking a Senior Detection Engineer in Abu Dhabi to lead detection engineering capabilities across Microsoft Sentinel, IBM QRadar, and related platforms. You will drive threat-informed content, governance, and cross-functional collaboration with Threat Intelligence, Red Team, and Incident Response teams.

The role demands deep expertise in detection engineering, security monitoring, and CI/CD-enabled development of detection content, with leadership of engineers and analysts.

Formación

• 8+ years in cybersecurity with at least 4 years in detection engineering.
• Proven experience building enterprise detection functions.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Sentinel, IBM QRadar, and MITRE frameworks.

Responsabilidades

• Establish and mature detection engineering function, operating model and roadmap.
• Define standards, processes, governance controls, and quality for detection content.
• Lead and mentor detection engineers and security analysts.
• Present detection strategies and risk-based recommendations to stakeholders.
