Job summary

United Arab Emirates University seeks a Senior Technician to join the Industry 4.0 District. The role focuses on hands-on workshop operations, maintenance of CNC machines, 3D printers, laser cutters, and related fabrication tools, while supporting engineers and students in various projects.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or technical certification in electrical, electronics, mechanical, mechatronics, or industrial technology with 7+ years of experience in machine operation and workshop

Qualifications

Diploma or technical certification in electrical, electronics, mechanical, mechatronics, or industrial technology.
7+ years hands-on experience in machine operation, maintenance, and workshop management.
Experience in CNC machining, welding, metal forming, electronics, or industrial automation.
Ability to read and understand technical documents and datasheets.
Familiarity with industrial safety regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Assist in daily workshop operations across multiple sections.
Provide hands-on technical support for machining, electronics, additive manufacturing, and assembly.
Support engineers in fabrication, installation, testing, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment.
Prepare machines, tools, and consumables for projects and training sessions.
Monitor and enforce safety standards and best practices in all workspaces.
