Job summary

A leading technology firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Senior Technician to join their HVAC Aftermarket team. The role involves installing, servicing, and maintaining refrigeration systems, ensuring high-quality customer service, and adhering to safety and quality standards. Applicants should have a diploma in Mechanical Engineering, a minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC systems, and strong technical knowledge. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and have excellent planning skills.

Qualifications

Job description

What you will do

The Senior Technician will be reporting directly to the Field Line Manager HVAC and will be based in Abu Dhabi. As part the HVAC Aftermarket team you will install service repair and carry out preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems and equipment such as reciprocations and screw compressors condensing units evaporators valves and control systems. The key role of a Senior Technician shall be:

• Day to day execution of the Service and Maintenance in line with Company Best Practices.
• Carry out service maintenance and retrofit projects on HVAC systems used for comfort and energy efficiency across large size project comprising Hospital Retail & Commercial Buildings.
• Strong Knowledge on Testing & commissioning HVAC system 3rd party integration Programming logics Graphics building Digital solutions.
• Coordination with Subcontractors to get the job done for HVAC installations.
• Conduct planning scheduling directing monitoring controlling for uniform service execution.
• Attend critical infrastructures and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensure KPIs are met & Continuous monitoring of Service Level Agreement compliance.
• Alignment and implementation of Service Management Quality Management and Health & Safety & Environmental Standards.
• Realize opportunities from product end of life and replacement/upgrade solutions.
• Identifying business growth opportunities and service delivery improvements.

How you will do it

As a Lead Technician you will use your strong HVAC technical knowledge to execute site surveys and carry out full dilapidation reports inspecting all refrigeration components and recommending system enhancements upgrades and replacements as necessary.

You will understand the customer requirements and concerns by meeting them on regular basis and provide them required technical services and repair for HVAC systems. Youre determined and consistent in your approach to work managing multiple priorities simultaneously because of your excellent planning and time management skills.

What we look for

Required

• Diploma in Mechanical or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 -7 years experience in servicing maintenance and overhauling of HVAC Systems Air Cooled Chillers Compressor Overhauling specifically reciprocating and screw compressors.
• Proven technical knowledge and experience of working on HVAC systems mostly on Chillers Braizing Vaccum Pressure Test
• Ability to read and understand electrical single line diagrams of HVAC systems
• Experience in handling reports & communications in a concise way.
• Fluent language skills in English
• Valid Driving License

Preferred

• Experienced in service/maintenance of about York / Carrier / Daikin/ Trane
• Minimum of 5 years experience in servicing maintenance and overhauling of HVAC Systems Air Cooled Chillers Compressor Overhauling specifically reciprocating and screw compressors within GCC region
