Emirates IT is hiring a Senior Technical Engineer - Adoption and Digital Enablement in Dubai to design, develop and deliver robust IT data solutions that meet business needs and corporate standards.

The role provides expert technical guidance, ensures service levels, and drives adoption of new technologies while coordinating with EGIT teams and project managers.

Qualifications

• Degree or Honours (12+3) in Information Technology.
• 5+ years of experience in end-user technology adoption, digital workplace solutions, and change enablement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical consultancy and guidance to EGIT and act as lead technical member in the project team delivering work packages.
• Develop IT solutions that meet customer requirements and align with corporate standards and technical strategy.
• Ensure architectures meet service levels for availability, capacity, continuity, security, performance, and reliability.
• Create solution architectures for projects following EA standards and support adoption of new technologies.
• Collaborate with IT teams to monitor technology and configure incidents within EMS.
• Guide Project Manager/Tech teams for definition, design and development of in-house solutions.
• Ensure incidents are resolved within SLA and problems are analyzed per Problem Management Process.
• Publish and maintain documentation and data catalog for the technology area.
• Manage End-of-life replacement of equipment/software to conform to standards.

The Senior Technical Engineer - Adoption and Digital Enablement will design, develop, and deliver robust, high-quality IT data solutions that align with business needs and corporate standards. The role will serve as a technical expert and consultant within the technology area, providing guidance to Emirates Group IT (EGIT) teams and ensuring the successful delivery of assigned work packages. By bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, the role will drive innovation, foster high-performing technical teams, and support the adoption of new technologies. This position is critical to ensuring that developed solutions meet service-level expectations in terms of availability, capacity, performance, security, and reliability while adhering to enterprise development standards and methodologies.

In This Role, You Will

• Provide expert technical consultancy and guidance to EGIT dealing within the technology area and act as lead technical member in the project team delivering the work packages assigned. Foster the development of high-performing technical teams to meet strategic architectural objectives
• Develop IT Solutions that meet customer requirements. Ensure that the design is robust, appropriate and of high quality and conforming to corporate standards and in line with the technical strategy.
• Ensure that the developed architecture/solution meets the service level requirements in terms of expected availability, capacity, continuity, security, performance and reliability.
• Develop solution architectures for assigned projects with the established EA standards and also support the development of technology advancements and adaptation of new technologies.
• Collaborate with other IT Technology teams to implement ongoing monitoring of the relevant technology to ensure level 1 & 2 incidents are configured within EMS.
• Guide Project Manager/Technology team managers for solution definition, technical design and development of in-house developed solutions. These are to be delivered as per agreed costs and timescales to meet signed-off functional, technical and process requirements.
• Ensure that assigned incidents are resolved within the agreed service levels and problems are defined and analysed in line with the Problem Management Process. Ensure that solutions to problems meet the architectural and security standards within the technology area and that impact on the business is minimised. Own and manage changes within the technology area.
• Publish and maintain high-quality documentation and data catalogue for the technology area. Working within the standard templates and documentation guidelines which includes detailed design, configuration details, support procedures, operations manuals and deployments architecture to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and governance across systems.
• Manage 'End-of-life' replacement of equipment and/or software within the technology area to ensure conformance to technical standards and support the technology initiatives and directions.
• Ensure the process and enhancement specifications are translated into effective programs with error-free code using the enterprise development tools, methods and languages.

Qualification

• Degree or Honours (12+3) or equivalent in Information Technology.
• 5+ years of experience in end-user technology adoption, digital workplace solutions, and change enablement initiatives.

Skills/Knowledge

• Ability to create engaging user-focused content, including training materials, guides, communications, presentations, and knowledge articles.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, with the ability to lead workshops, demonstrations, user forums, and technology awareness sessions.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, Co-pilot, and related productivity and collaboration tools.
• Experience driving adoption of emerging technologies, including AI-powered solutions, automation platforms, and workplace technology innovations.
• Knowledge of Audio-Visual (AV) technologies, meeting room solutions, and modern collaboration environments.
• Strong communication, influencing, and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage users across all organizational levels.
• Analytical mindset with experience measuring adoption metrics, user feedback, and business outcomes to continuously improve technology utilization.
