Job summary

GHD UAE office is seeking a Senior Technical Architect to lead the technical design of large-scale projects, including educational and light industrial facilities, and to oversee construction documentation from concept through to submission. The role requires collaboration with clients, project managers and design professionals to ensure successful delivery in line with codes and standards.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, 10+ years of relevant experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s qualification in Architecture.
• 10+ years of experience on medium to large scale projects.
• RIBA/AIA licensed architect preferred.
• Experience from concept through to construction across multiple project types.
• Middle East experience and regional knowledge of design/construction practices.
• Proficiency in Revit and SketchUp for design development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design of complex construction projects including commercial, educational and industrial facilities.
• Coordinate with clients, project managers and other design professionals to develop technical design solutions.
• Prepare and develop drawings, models, specifications and reports for design and submission.
• Lead design coordination with all disciplines, subconsultants and stakeholders.
• Ensure documents meet client requirements and industry standards; manage submission to authorities.
