Job summary

TALENT ONE EMPLOYMENT SERVICES in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Lead Electrical Instrumentation & Telecom Construction professional to supervise field teams, ensure safety, quality and timely execution, and align work with approved drawings and international standards.

You will oversee crews, coordinate with engineering and clients, review methods, and drive adherence to HSE guidelines and project schedules in a demanding oil & gas EPC environment.

Qualifications

• 20 years of EIT site/construction experience with international Oil & Gas EPC companies and subcontractors.
• Strong Electrical Instrumentation and Telecom construction background.
• Middle East CIS/FSU or North Africa experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, NEMA and IEC standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, troubleshooting and subcontractor management skills.
• PTW LOTO and Arc Flash training required; ATEX and lifting/scaffolding training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead site construction supervision and subcontractor activities against 90-day and weekly schedules.
• Monitor manpower, equipment productivity, progress and workfront readiness.
• Review construction methods, approved drawings, specifications and subcontractor execution plans.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, ITPs, QCPs and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Client QC and subcontractors to resolve technical and construction issues.
• Supervise installation of electrical power/control systems, lighting, cables, trays, transformers, switchgear, motors, generators and UPS.
• Oversee instrumentation calibration, loop checks, fire & gas, communication and fibre-optic systems.
• Monitor inspections, TQs, NCRs, punch-list closure and preservation activities.
• Lead schedule reviews, identify delays and implement recovery actions.
• Mentor construction teams and ensure competent/certified personnel are deployed.

Job description

Lead and supervise Electrical Instrumentation & Telecom (EIT) construction activities and field teams ensuring safe quality and timely execution in line with approved drawings international standards budget and project schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead site construction supervision and subcontractor activities against 90-day and weekly schedules.
