Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer/Civil Coordinator to oversee civil engineering coordination for high-voltage substations. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in civil coordination, specifically with 220kV and higher substations. Responsibilities include coordinating engineering scopes, reviewing designs, and liaising with stakeholders. This full-time position requires on-site availability and proficiency in ETABS and SAFE.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of relevant experience in civil coordination for high-voltage substations.
• Proficiency in ETABS and SAFE is mandatory.
• Available to work on-site full-time in the Abu Dhabi office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate civil engineering scope for substation infrastructure.
• Review and validate civil designs interfacing with electrical and structural teams.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders during execution phases.
• Provide inputs for foundation design and civil detailing aligned with standards.
• Support project planning and preparation of civil deliverables.
• Maintain quality control standards for civil execution.
