Job summary

Remotedxb is seeking a seasoned security leader to champion a secure-by-default culture across product and engineering teams in the UAE. You will drive security requirements, analyze code, and shape the product security roadmap to mitigate vulnerabilities and risk.

With 6+ years in application or product security, you will automate security workflows, work across DevOps and product teams, and translate findings into practical secure coding education for engineers.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in application or product security.
• Proficiency in coding to automate security workflows.
• Hands-on experience with microservice architectures.
• Ability to collaborate across product, engineering, and DevOps teams.
• Prioritize security based on real risk rather than just vulnerability counts.

Responsibilities

• Champion a secure by default culture, building defense in depth into frameworks and architecture.
• Develop security requirements and work with teams to build them into new applications.
• Manually analyze source code to understand products deeply.
• Drive the product security roadmap in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
• Design solutions to mitigate vulnerabilities and risk.
• Run security risk assessments, penetration testing, and threat modeling.
• Turn findings into secure coding education for engineers.
