Job summary

UAE Healthcare Organization in Dubai seeks an experienced Specialist/Consultant Spine Surgeon to lead evaluation and surgical management of spinal disorders within a modern tertiary care setting.

The role requires significant post-specialization spine surgery experience and strong clinical judgment, with opportunities to work in a multidisciplinary team and to advance patient-centered spine care.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical qualification.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Orthopedic Surgery, Neurosurgery, or Spine Surgery.
• Significant post-specialization spine surgery experience.
• UK CCT / FRCS, American Board, Australian Board / FRACS, or equivalent international qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad range of spinal disorders and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Perform elective and emergency spinal surgical procedures.
• Manage degenerative spinal disease, spinal trauma, deformities, and complex spine conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Perform pre-operative evaluations and provide post-operative care and follow-up.
• Collaborate with neurosurgery, orthopedics, radiology, anesthesia, physiotherapy, and rehabilitation teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, audits, and quality-improvement activities.
• Uphold patient safety, clinical governance, and evidence-based practice.
