Job summary

Arada is seeking a Specifications Manager to lead the preparation, development, and governance of formal architectural and building specifications across its diverse developments in the UAE. You will author and edit specifications to CSI MasterFormat/SectionFormat or NBS with Uniclass, ensuring materials meet quality, sustainability, and commercial goals.

You will collaborate with Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape, Procurement, and external consultants, establishing material standards,

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Certification in specification writing preferred – e.g. CSI CDT or CCS or NBS accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, author, and coordinate formal architectural and building specifications to a recognised structured system (CSI MasterFormat/SectionFormat or NBS/Uniclass).
• Coordinate specifications with drawings, BOQ, and consultants to avoid conflicts and gaps.
• Establish, own, and maintain Arada’s master specification library with revision control and issue management.
• Develop and maintain project specifications for architectural finishes and building products.
• Review consultant specifications for compliance with standards and regulations.
• Lead value engineering initiatives and evaluate products and technologies.
• Support design and project teams across development lifecycle to ensure design intent and budgets.
