EDGE in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Specialist, Government Coordination & Protocol to serve as the focal point for engagement with government entities, customers, and strategic stakeholders. You will manage official communications, government engagements, protocol arrangements, and VIP visits, ensuring high standards of professionalism and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree completed in a relevant field (per the job ad).
  • 6–7 years of relevant experience in government coordination, government relations, protocol, stakeholder management, or a related function.
  • Experience coordinating with government entities and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong Arabic and English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience preparing formal correspondence and official documentation.

  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion.
  • Support the resolution of stakeholder inquiries and issues through effective internal coordination.
  • Ensure all government coordination and protocol activities comply with applicable policies and procedures.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Specialist, Government Coordination & Protocol will serve as a key focal point for engagement and coordination with government entities, customers, and strategic stakeholders. The role is responsible for managing official communications, government engagements, protocol arrangements, visits and delegations, while ensuring effective coordination with internal stakeholders and maintaining high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and protocol.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Public Relations, Communications, Government Affairs, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6–7 years of relevant experience in government coordination, government relations, protocol, stakeholder management, or a related function.
  • Experience coordinating with government entities and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong Arabic and English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience preparing formal correspondence and official documentation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous experience in UAE government relations and protocol.
  • Experience coordinating VIP visits, official delegations, high-level meetings, and formal events.
  • Experience within the defence, government, manufacturing, or regulated sectors.
  • Knowledge of UAE government protocols and procedures.
  • Experience handling confidential or sensitive documentation.
  • Strong reporting, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
