Job summary

Wood in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Civil & Structural SP3D Designer to develop and maintain offshore 3D civil/structural models using SP3D, ensuring constructible, clash-free results for oil and gas projects.

You will coordinate with piping, mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines, deliver GA and fabrication drawings, and ensure compliance with ADNOC standards and international codes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• 10–15 years of offshore structural design and drafting experience.
• Strong SP3D proficiency and familiarity with ADNOC/Middle East projects.
• Proficiency with MicroStation, AutoCAD, Navisworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D civil/structural SP3D models for offshore projects.
• Produce GA, framing, section, elevation and detail drawings from models.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and resolve clashes and interfaces.
• Apply offshore design practices for fabrication, lifting and installation.
• Follow ADNOC standards and international codes; ensure QA of drawings.
• Lead and mentor junior designers and ensure timely delivery.
