Job summary

Olcoms is seeking an experienced software engineer to design and deliver high-traffic applications in a Dubai-based environment. You will write robust C#/.NET code, lead reviews, and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

You will mentor junior team members, ensure adherence to quality standards, and actively participate in architecture discussions, debugging complex distributed systems, and performance tuning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or computer engineering or other equivalent.
• 7+ Years of relevant experience in the software development field.
• Proficiency in English; additional language a plus.

Responsibilities

• Write testable, scalable and efficient code and lead code reviews.
• Extract project requirements from team members and provide feedback and innovative solutions.
• Identify, prioritize, document and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
• Determine root causes for complex software issues and develop practical solutions.
• Estimate level of effort in hours and deliver on time.
• Contribute to evolving content and services across applications.
• Mentor junior and mid-level team members and maintain quality standards.
• Communicate professionally and raise alerts when necessary.
