Our development team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, implement, and maintain Jawaker’s systems.

Your Tasks

• Maintain and update existing systems and codebases.
• Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
• Review code developed by other engineers, providing feedback to ensure best practices are followed.
• Contribute to engineering-related documentation.
• Triage system issues and resolve them.
• Mentor junior engineers.

Your Backstory

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is required.
• Proven expertise in building high-available, resilient, scalable services in distributed architecture.
• 5+ years of experience in software development using one or more programming languages.
• Experience building a service from the ground up, driving the design, development, and implementation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize code.

Nice-to-have

• Experience in a technical leadership role
