Senior SIEM Engineer: QRadar to Sentinel & SOAR

Job summary

Halian is seeking an experienced security engineer with deep expertise in SIEM engineering and detection engineering. You will work hands-on with IBM QRadar and Microsoft Sentinel to design and tune detection logic and automate security workflows.

The role requires strong KQL skills, knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, and experience with Azure and Defender XDR. Banking/FS domain familiarity and QRadar-to-Sentinel migration experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with IBM QRadar and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Strong expertise in SIEM Engineering, Detection Engineering, and KQL.
• Experience building SOAR playbooks and security automation workflows.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, log management, and security monitoring.
• Experience with Azure, Microsoft Defender XDR, Entra ID, PowerShell and/or Python.
• Banking/Financial Services experience and QRadar-to-Sentinel migration experience highly preferred.
