Job summary

Gas Detectors UAE is seeking a Senior Service Engineer specializing in fixed and portable gas detection systems and sensors. The role focuses on installation, commissioning, calibration, and troubleshooting across UAE sites, ensuring operational readiness and regulatory compliance.

You will lead site surveys, perform PMs, generate service reports, and provide training and technical support to clients and junior technicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Service Engineer with multi-brand gas detection systems.
• Expert knowledge of gas detection principles and sensor technologies.
• Experience reading P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and loop drawings.
• Valid UAE driving license and excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission fixed and portable gas detection systems.
• Perform calibration, bump testing, and maintenance.
• Provide technical support and training to clients.
• Ensure compliance with QMS and UAE regulations.
• Manage service reports, inventory, and calibration gas usage.
