Job summary

GEMS Education in Dubai seeks an experienced teacher to deliver the curriculum with up-to-date subject knowledge. You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons, create materials, and maintain records while ensuring compliance with school policies and safeguarding standards.

The role requires a Master’s Degree in the subject taught, a valid teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed.), 8–10 years of experience in the UAE, and strong ICT, communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in the subject taught with a certified teaching qualification such as B.Ed. or equivalent.
• 8–10 years of teaching experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Excellent ICT skills and knowledge of modern teaching methods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the required curriculum with up-to-date knowledge of curriculum and subject matter.
• Plan and deliver quality lessons to motivate students and create materials that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Assess, record and report on student progress to ensure the curriculum meets individual needs.
• Participate in CPD, safeguarding procedures, and performance management.
• Lead/co‑ordinate co-curricular and extra-curricular activities and promote a love of learning.
