Job summary

GBM is seeking a Senior SAP ABAP and CPI Consultant to join our Dubai HQ team. With 10+ years of SAP ABAP development and CPI experience, you will drive integration modernization in the Rise with SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2023 environment, align developments with the Clean Core, and optimize performance while standardizing programs.

You will own ABAP development, CPI iFlows, interface migrations, and transformation activities, while collaborating with functional, Basis, and security teams to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of SAP ABAP development across modules.
• SAP certifications in ABAP and/or SAP Integration Suite / CPI.
• Hands-on API Management, ODATA services, REST/SOAP integrations.
• Strong understanding of SAP Clean Core and extensibility using BTP.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, forms, and enhancements.
• Review ABAP code to align with SAP Clean Core and optimize performance.
• Refactor ABAP code for performance and maintenance improvements.
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain CPI iFlows for new integrations and replacements of legacy PI/PO.
• Migrate interfaces to CPI using best practices and SAP content.
• Monitor CPI integrations for data flow and reliability.
• Work on API-based integrations using SAP API Management and BTP.
