Job Summary

The Senior Sales Executive is responsible for acquiring and managing customers for credit cards and other banking products. This role involves lead generation, direct sales, customer relationship management, and mentoring junior sales staff to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
  • Promote and sell credit cards, personal loans and other banking products to individual and business customers.
  • Identify and approach high‑potential clients through various sales channels including field sales, referrals and networking.
  • Conduct in‑depth financial assessments to recommend suitable banking products.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Lead Generation & Pipeline Management
  • Develop and maintain a steady pipeline of potential customers through networking, referrals and market research.
  • Follow up with leads, schedule appointments and conduct face‑to‑face meetings.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track sales progress and update customer information.
Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance loyalty and retention.
  • Provide exceptional after‑sales support and address customer inquiries or concerns.
  • Offer financial guidance to customers on responsible credit usage and banking solutions.
Mentoring & Team Collaboration
  • Guide and support junior sales executives in achieving their targets.
  • Share best practices, sales techniques and market insights with team members.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing and customer support to enhance sales efforts.
Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure all sales activities adhere to bank policies, regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
  • Accurately collect and verify customer documents for processing.
  • Maintain proper records of sales transactions and customer interactions.
Market Awareness & Competitor Analysis
  • Stay updated on banking products, services and industry trends.
  • Monitor competitor offerings and provide insights to improve sales strategies.
