Job summary

A global engineering firm in the UAE is seeking a Sales role focused on the food and beverage sector. The candidate will build customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and manage sales pipelines while providing technical support. Ideally, candidates should hold an engineering diploma and have 9-12 years of experience in sales and engineering, particularly in automation and instrumentation. This role emphasizes a strong sales-oriented mindset and technical expertise in DCS and PLC systems.

Qualifications

  • 9 to 12 years of Sales & Engineering software and projects experience, preferably in the F & B sales sector.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Identify F & B opportunities and relevant decision makers.
  • Prepare and deliver documents and materials for customer meetings.
  • Build a consistent and sustainable sales pipeline.
  • Participate in events and conferences on behalf of the company.

Job Purpose

To expand the Life Business food & beverage and expand business opportunities in Middle East and Africa region and achieve budgeted order Intake sales turn over and gross profit targets.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Identify F & B opportunities and the relevant decision makers.
  • Collect compile verify and analyze competitive sales marketing and other information about potential business; new markets products and services; or other business opportunities.
  • Control Manage & Update Life opportunities in CRM frequently.
  • Prepare & Deliver documents and materials on company products/services (for example reports presentations information packages) for meetings with customers EPCs & End users.
  • Build a consistent and sustainable sales pipeline.
  • Educate customers on new/enhanced product lines/services.
  • Plant visits/development of customer relationships.
  • Actively pursue customer feedback.
  • Understanding customers process & Main equipment.
  • Knowledge of Yokogawa product lines.
  • Conduct visits and calls to potential customers and follow up regional life leads within YMA.
  • Participate in events and conferences on behalf of the company.
  • Offer Preparation Prepares/supports preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements.
  • Support and monitor OI for Life F & B Business as per the Business Unit Sales Target and its strategies and plans.
  • Develop discover and execute to some extent F & B Life Business Projects when required depending on the size of Project and the requirements.
Qualification and Experience
  • Preferably engineering diploma holder / graduate in Process Automation / Instrumentation / Electronics & Electrical streams.
  • 9 to 12 years Sales & Engineering software and projects predominantly in F & B sales sector experience is preferable.
