Job summary

Grant Thornton UAE is seeking a seasoned Internal Audit/Risk Advisory professional to manage client relationships and lead engagements in a dynamic, multinational environment in Abu Dhabi. You will drive risk assessments, control design reviews, and data analytics to support informed management decisions.

The role requires 6–8 years of relevant experience, strong COSO/ERM knowledge, and ERP exposure (SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics).

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of relevant experience in Internal Audit or Risk Advisory.
• Experience in Hospitality or F&B industries preferred.
• Knowledge of COSO, ERM frameworks, and Global Internal Audit Standards.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships, lead engagement teams, and present observations.
• Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Yardi, Opera PMS, or similar.
• Data analytics skills (Power BI, IDEA, ACL, SQL) are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
• Leading risk, compliance, and audit engagements from planning to close-out.
• Acting as fieldwork lead, overseeing teams and deliverables.
• Monitoring WIP, billing, and collections to minimize write-offs and aged debtors.
• Contributing to the training and development of execution team members.
• Identifying client needs and cross-sell relevant services.
• Contributing to proposals and leveraging the firm’s global network for delivery.
• Understanding and communicating the firm’s competitive advantage.
• Overseeing project delivery and practice management activities.
• Ensuring quality control and team review across engagements.
