Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced Release Manager in Dubai to lead end-to-end software release lifecycles across complex tech environments. You will align development, QA, infrastructure, security, and business teams to plan, test, and deploy reliable releases with minimal risk.

The role requires 7+ years in Release Management or IT delivery, with strong SDLC, Agile and ITIL knowledge. You will drive CI/CD improvements and maintain rigorous release governance in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Release Management, IT Delivery, Dev Ops or Software Engineering.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, Scrum and ITIL practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes and version control.
• Familiarity with Jira, Service Now, Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, Git or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of change, incident and configuration management.
• Excellent stakeholder coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the end-to-end software release lifecycle.
• Develop release calendars, plans, schedules and deployment strategies.
• Coordinate releases across Development, QA, Infrastructure, Security and Business teams.
• Manage release readiness, dependencies, risks and approval processes.
• Ensure production deployments are properly tested and authorized.
• Monitor release progress and provide clear stakeholder reporting.
• Coordinate change management and production implementation activities.
• Identify and mitigate release-related risks and dependencies.
• Lead post-release reviews and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain release documentation, governance standards and audit trails.
• Support CI/CD and Dev Ops practices to improve deployment efficiency.
• Ensure smooth communication throughout major releases and production changes.
