Job summary

Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified midwife to provide patient-centric care across antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal periods. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to maintain high standards of care, safety and documentation.

The role requires valid BLS and NRP certifications and a minimum of two years of midwifery experience in the candidate’s home country. UAE Emiratisation considerations apply; hospital-based learning and supervision are provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid BLS and NRP certifications.
• Minimum two years of midwifery experience in own country preferred.
• Emiratization program preference applied.

Responsibilities

• Deliver antenatal, intrapartum, postpartum care for women and neonates with a multi-disciplinary team, per standards and laws.
• Identify, prevent and manage risks to ensure patient safety in line with risk policies and legislation.
• Foster positive patient and family experiences by creating a supportive environment under nursing leadership guidance.
• Maintain accurate records of nursing interventions per company standards and legal requirements.
• Mentor and coach learners and staff to build competence and learning culture.
• Utilize stock and equipment efficiently following Mediclinic guidelines.
