Job summary

Stantec is seeking a highly experienced Quantity Surveyor for a Water Infrastructure Project based in Dubai. The role requires a tertiary qualification (BSc QS preferred) and MRICS, with extensive experience in infrastructure costing and contract administration.

You will lead cost planning, take-off, and preparation of bills of quantities in CESMM format, plus estimating, tender documents, and post-contract activities such as valuation of variations and claims negotiation.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification(s); BSc QS preferred.
• MRICS or equivalent professional qualification.
• At least 10 years of experience in all facets of quantity surveying for infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Cost planning and quantity take-off for infrastructure projects.
• Preparation of bills of quantities in CESMM format.
• Estimating, tender and contract document production.
• Report writing, claim evaluation/negotiation, and post-contract administration.
• Valuation of variations and agreement of new rates.
