Summary
We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee all aspects of cost management on construction projects. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing budgets, tracking project expenses, and ensuring that materials and labor costs remain within budgetary constraints.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
- Monitor project progress to ensure costs remain within budget
- Conduct cost analysis and provide cost control advice
- Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
- Manage payments to suppliers, subcontractors, and employees
- Prepare monthly financial reports for senior management
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes
- Excellent budgeting and cost control skills
- Proficient in using quantity surveying software
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
