Job summary

Jddesign in North Africa is seeking a Quantity Surveyor (QS Engineer) to oversee all commercial and contractual aspects of a high-end hotel project. You will work with the Project Manager, technical office, and site teams to ensure accurate cost control, proper documentation, and timely reporting on a luxury hotel development.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field and a minimum of 8 years of experience, preferably with GCC contractors, focusing on cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience, preferably in GCC with reputable main contractors.
• Strong knowledge of cost control, BOQs, variations, and claims.

Responsibilities

• Monitor design changes, revised drawings, and updated specs.
• Evaluate cost impact of design modifications and prepare variation proposals.
• Maintain a design change log and obtain approvals for changes.
• Verify quantities and scope adjustments with the technical office and site teams.
• Prepare cost breakdowns, BOQs updates, and commercial proposals.
• Coordinate with procurement to obtain quotations and assess cost impacts.
• Prepare and review subcontractor invoices, progress payments, and site measurements.
• Assist in final account preparation and project closeout documentation.
