Job summary

EDGE is seeking a Senior Governance & Standards Specialist to strengthen the Quality Management System (QMS) and drive process governance across manufacturing operations in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, and UAE regulations, leading certification activities, and collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality teams.

The role emphasizes Lean Six Sigma, risk-based thinking, and continuous improvement, with SAP QM integration and cross-functional coordination

Qualifications

• High school/Diploma/degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Materials Engineering.
• 5-7 years experience in operational quality with focus on continuous improvement and governance.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
• ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification.
• Proven experience leading AS9100 certification projects (gap assessments, documentation, implementation, audits).
• Risk assessment and project management skills.
• Working knowledge in SAP.

Responsibilities

• Support the Quality Management System implementation, certification, maintenance and continual improvement.
• Ensure ISO 9001, customer requirements and regulatory standards compliance; maintain Quality Manuals and procedures.
• Provide practical QMS support across manufacturing operations to strengthen process compliance.
• Monitor adherence to procedures across all departments and perform process verifications.
• Promote process standardization across the organization.
• Assist in IMS implementation per ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements.
• Develop and update Quality Manuals, procedures, work instructions, and process documents.
• Coordinate with process owners to identify gaps in implementation and compliance.
